Official role at CRI: Project Manager

What does that mean to you? I am involved in the implementation of rehabilitation research projects, including engaging participants in the research process and utilising telehealth to facilitate data collection. I am passionate about ensuring that our research participants have a good experience while contributing in important ways to the development of innovative health care initiatives.

What is your favourite part of your work? Working in research offers many opportunities to contribute to the understanding of factors that impact on health care outcomes and to improve people’s experiences of accessing optimal healthcare. I enjoy contributing to these pursuits as well as the creative and collaborative nature of designing and implementing research projects across discipline groups. I also enjoy having access to the great learning opportunities that are part of working in a research environment.

How do you look after your own health and wellbeing? The things I find good for the body and soul are spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, travel, laughing, reading and cooking.
