NHMRC Ideas Grant Success

Professor Leeanne Carey and her team at La Trobe University, in collaboration with the Centre for Rehab Innovations (CRI), The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health and University of South Australia, have been awarded $1.7 million from the NHMRC for an Ideas Grant looking at the impact of new technologies for those living with stroke in the Community.

CRI’s Clinical Theme Leader, Associate Professor Michael Pollack will lead the Newcastle arm of this three (3) year project with an aim to establish evidence to lead a shift in practice that guides personalised long-term rehabilitation, at home, and supported by new technologies to stay connected.
