Sweden in Australia Healthcare Dialogue
In late April, the Swedish Embassy in Canberra, hosted “Sweden in Australia Healthcare Dialogue”, bringing together representatives from the public sector and academia to explore current trends in healthcare and to discuss how innovation, research and the introduction of new technologies will help bring about new solutions.
Invited Swedish companies with Australian operations provided a Swedish and Australian perspective on their businesses in the healthcare sector. Other speakers included CRI’s Directors, Prof Michael Nilsson and Prof Rohan Walker, both presenting in the session ‘Innovation, research and the Introduction of New Technologies’.
AstraZeneca’s Kieran Schneemann chaired the sessions with active and engaged input from the audience. The seminar was followed by a networking reception at the Embassy of Sweden hosted by the Ambassador of Sweden to Australia, His Excellency Henrik Cederin.
